Can anyone help ? I can't attack or play the map because this keeps coming up. It tells me to go to the map and hit refresh, but when I do it still doesn't work. But the map knows exactly where I am... FFS.

End multitasking and restart app. Then do the refresh thing.

Have u moved recently? Its the same for me but i recently moved to australia so i asked the feedback team and they say once google reset their map thing it will work however it might take a few weeks

Same problem here- it has green like it found my location after opening from multitask. But if you leave the app and open it through multitask a second time it actually works.

A bit annoying having to open it twice every time... But whatevs.

I close the app out by double tapping the home button and the touching and holding until a little dash shows up in the top left corner. The I just reopen the app

On the turf map hit the reset map button on the top left. Then try again. Works everytime for me.
