I'm thinking of quitting because I don't have an IPhone. I am a fairly high level with many turfs but they are all my own. I can't expand because I am limited to WiFi. Now all I do is rank advancement and banking. I could mob up more but what's the point? It's all stagnant now. Am I missing something or is the ITouch fairly useless at this game? Thanks in advance for kind comments and/or flames.

Travel around to a few of the McDonalds...they hav free wifi. Just make sure you open up safari to accept the terms an then Turf Wars should work...or just get an iPhone.

I'm also an iPod touch user, I feel a bit handicapped as well but it's not impossible. I bring it with me everywhere and sometimes there's wifi but most of the time there isn't.

I feel your pain though.

Ditto. But we touch users don't have a service plan. Were just stealin wi-fi. So it's pro - con

Starbucks too. I have an iPhone, but sometimes you gotta be connected to wifi for the app downloads & updates that are over 10MB so I'll bust it out at *$ and do it there.

Don't give up man, guess it is annoying with only wifi hook up but it's not an actual disadvantage. Sometimes an iPhone does not have coverage too so works the same.

I have an iPhone but I play almost always on wifi. Instead of building your turf around you why don't you build over to the other players. They're not that far from you.

Also you can still drive up there and find an open wifi point and lay down turf in other areas like that.

Daisy chain turfs to the spot you want to. It might cost a bit of money but the benefits are even greater.

Can't complain here cuz RU has wifi all over their campuses, so it's ok for me.

I'm an itouch user too. There was a thread a while back that was titled "iPhone or iTouch". The itouch came out on top lol ;)

I'm an itouch user and I am getting worked. All turf near one spot and being taken by one person CRAZY. Not much choice going to be forced out. Too bad was fun game for a while. Not well balanced. Can't beat people with larger everything. Oh well.

I have a touch but i just bring it with me and check everywhere. Bring to some relatives house and ask for their wi fi password if they have one.

I'm not quite the genius as most of you. I just FINALLY realized you can tear down your own turfs. All of a sudden I am mobile and the game has new life for me. Thanks for all the advice.

I have an iPod Touch and I always find free wifi when I'm out & about... Restaurants mostly... Libraries, etc.
