vendetta question...

ok this might be difficult to explain... but ill give it a go. so a player near me (who has taken a good bunch of turfs off me in the past) declared a vendetta on two other local players. knowing he is now 40% down on defence i start capping some of his turfs (as i normally would not be able to). in response he included me as the third target of his vendetta. now i cant cap his turfs (i assume because as he has targeted me ive lost the 40% bonus). is this how it is supposed to be? technically i am not a member of a vendetta so should i not still get the 40% bonus? or is that lost when u are a TARGET of a V as well. note: he is the lone member of his vendetta

you lose the ability to make use of the penalty the second you become a target

Acting alone in a vendetta is just plain stupid. There is nothing to be gained. Vendetta members are 40% weaker against anyone that is NOT a target of the vendetta.

So once you were targeted, you lost that advantage.
