I noticed some posts in this and other forums here about makng money. Here are a few simple things you can do;

First, don't buy defensive turf upgrades. It's not really worth it when even 1 extra mob with armor/minigun would make the same difference in most cases.

Second, try to build as much ontop of other turfs as possible and in crowded areas. Even if youdont get the protection bonus it will still increase your profit on that turf.

Third, don't capture too often. A busy area will give you more earnings over all then that one extra turf will.

Fourth, if you're paying someone else protection, unless that turf is in the negative, don't tear it down. Just build it to 84 and you won't be charged protection anymore.

Lastly and most importantly, go to the missions screen. Buy police protection for any city you don't have it for. This will generally run you about or less then an hours worth of income but that protection will generally double your income for the whole week.

I'm still a little confused on the last bit. Buying police protection can double weekly income on turfs?

Thnx mate but this foes not anwser my question. At lower lvls am I better off building warehouses to make money or arming up? Also, of I build turf next to or on a bigger player, won't I have to pay them prtection? Lvl 20. Pulis852

Your focus should always be on adding mob. But you need money to arm them and income to support them. So you should be doing both, adding mob and building up turfs.

You only pay a player protection if they're turf us of higher influence and overlaping the center of your turf.

If you are getting protection money can you see that somewhere on the "your turf" sheet?

yeah, go to the specific turf's page & scroll to the bottom & it'll tell you if you're getting or paying any protection money. Best way to not pay any is have your turf @ 84 influence
