If I tear down a low yield turf, will I be able to add one elsewhere??

Yeah. I do this frequently as people move in and out of my area/the game.

If its making crappy money, it's worth it to me to tear a turf down and rebuild it in an area that gets more income.

But as Tom said, if you've captured a bunch and blasted past your turf limit, you can't add anymore unless you pull a handful down, or buy more from the don.
