Attack/defense skill points question

I know those points would be useless, but why? My guess is because you can easily get attack and defense points by buying wepons. Am I correct?

They're not "useless" they're just that last skills you should upgrade, just like defensive upgrades on your turf

Why? In all the other iPhone games they roll up in ur overall attk/def pts. I thought they would be 1st. Anyway, I'm a 3 and have only put pts on attk/def, did I F up? What should I upgrade?

Forget attack and defence totally pointless with the size of mobs about. I suggest concentrating mainly on energy so you can do more missions but occassionally buy stamina for when you get stronger and need to attack more.

Attack & defense are not multipliers like in other games, they are only additions. So, if you have 10 attack points, it only adds 10 to your overall attack. Don't waste your points on attack & defense.
Don't bother with defensive upgrades on your turfs either, they are just huge money sucks & aren't worth it.
