The first thing you need to do is invite as many members as you can and start buying turfs. Do your missions and buy turfs also build your army. You can start off by buying grenades and Kevlar vest for all your members (no upkeep). If I have 50 members then I need 50grenades and 50vests. If you need more power add more people, but if you can't then start buying AKs and body armor.

So, when i add more mob members from other places i also need to buy more weapons for them? does that raise my influence?

no the way to raise influence is to upgrade your turf. it shows how much influence it gives on the upgrade. turf upgrades also earn money. happy hunting!

you need at least 1 weapon and/or 1 armor for each mob member for them to be useful in combat. Mob size doesn't increase influence.

though it should as chainsawcharlie suggested to fix the 1 influence turf cheat.
