Can I pull down one of my original turfs to build elsewhere to progress in the game even tho I have exceeded my turf limit.?

Yes, if when you pull down your turf your under the turf limit

If you are over limit, you need top tear down enough turf to be under limit. As long as you are over, you can not build or rebuild.
