The same rules apply as for capturing. Look at your checklist. It will tell you what you are missing.

If you have all green checks then you have to attack until the turf reaches 0inf, and then you need to WIN one more attack to destroy/cap.

If you are too far away to capture a turf, can you destroy it without a vendetta?

The only way to destroy turf is with a Vendetta active against turf.
