Whenever I do missions I get busted like 40% of the time. I get money then it gets taken away. Almost beats the point of doing missions IMO. Is that normal?

I believe u still get busted if u're capo. Capo is only for police protection. If u dont want to get busted, do missions with lower risks or none at all. The first mission is best for XP and has no risk. Missions that have more reward money have higher risks.

Ransom has a slight risk, and yields the same 1.5exp per E used, but with a higher payout.

Being Capo does reduce risk slightly. The more you have the better. But the higher risk missions are exactly that-higher risk.
