How do I get influence someone with answers please respond

U can get influence by buying upgrades for your turf ( defensive upgrades don't give u influence)

I don't have turf I haven't been able to get it so what do I do

You have to build turf. You're at level 5. You should be able to build at least two turfs. Tap on the Turf button on the bottom toolbar.

It says I have to make turf on a green spot but those are other peoples turfs and I can't take them over

Try to find an empty spot, where if u build, no turfs would overlap ur turf or u will lose income. It is possible to build inside another player's turf, but then u would pay protection money to that player.

This is a gps game, so if you use an iPhone, just physically move to a location near others but not directly on top and start building.
