If I'm invited to a vendetta but it says that my turf is too far away from the target, do I still get money if I join and turf is capped/destroyed? Although from what I understand I won't be helping the v at all? Thanks.

If you aren't assisting in the attack I don't believe you get a cut of the destroyed turf money.

That is correct. In order to assist in and take part in vendettas you must be within 1000 miles of the target turf. Look Olin the Help section on the homescreen. This is detailed there.
