Can't Change Name

Im trying to change my name. When I type it in, it says it is already in use. I search for players using the search facility and nothing comes up, suggesting that it isn't in use? Anyone else come across this or found a solution for this? Thanks

That would probably mean they are inactive.

They are inactive. An example of this would be gasface. You search his name, but nothing comes up. However, it's still an account.

Oftentimes you can use any international keyboard to enter a letter that looks identical or near identical to the one you want.
There is a player named 'THEY', but he will not show up in a search as the 'T' in his name is a letter from an international keyboard. However, looking at his name, you would never know.
