I tried going to a different part of the city i live in to drop new turf, but apparently i was unable to drop outside my "green radius" near my other turfs.

I thought i read on the forums it is possible to drop turfs in new areas based on your GPS location. for example, if i travel 100 miles away, i could drop a turf where i am physically located and not constrained to where i set up other turfs in the past. Is this true?

That is correct. Are you on an ipod? Check the location issue thread in tech for possible solutions.

Sometimes though, just restarting the app can fix it.

on ipad wifi only version. So yeah, i guess i should try again. thanks!
