What does this mean when it is crossed out how do u turn the cross into a tick

It means you captured too much turf from that person for the day.

I found it...well one of them. Frankly, having done a search of the help/strat forum on the subj. of cap limit there are posts everywhere. For strategy purposes (if you're trying to, say, predict your own losses) it's best, I think to stick with the expectation that you'll lose turf equivalent to .5 x your level. However, in the last week my experience has been a few turf less. So, I tend to agree with Belial and Chainsaw Charlie that other factors like the level of both opponents, etc. do effect cap limit. But I admit to also losing track at one point. LOL. Far more important is that the cap limit window begins with the FIRST turf capped NOT the last. This wasn't very intuitive to me. Glad I looked it up. If you're capping a player with a cap limit of 20 and you cap 15 at 9 am and 5 more at 3 pm, then you can start capping again at 9 am the next day. NOT 24 hrs after the last turf capped. Hope this helps and others more exp than I weigh in.
