Weapons limit?

Is there a limit to how many of a certain weapon or armor you can buy? Because I have plety of money for sole riot shields but i'm not allowed to buy more. I only own three. However I am able to buy some other weapons

Then why can't I buy more than three riot shields If I have friggin 160 thousand bucks.

I believe riot shields are considered tools. Tools are limited in what you can buy.

I know their are new missions planned in future updates. Maybe they will play a role there.

no it's because it's loot. We know this from aggressives ar15s and the fact that he can't buy buy them. The market price is only for selling purposes.

And that probably goes for stuff like brass knuckles and chainsaws too cause I can't buy any of those buy can sell em.
