Cash gained/lost in combat

What determines the amount of cash gained or lost when winning or losing an attack against against another player? How about against a turf?
This is explained in neither the in-game help nor the TW wiki. I've seen a decent number of fights, and I have my theories, but I'm wondering if anyone can answer my question definitively. One thing I'm certain of is that there are multiple variables involved in this formula. -
I've never seen an answer to this question.

I've noticed mob size and their cash on hand to be factors, but beyond those I'm not sure

One time I took 68k in one fight
Seeing as how they had a 6000 mob
(twice as big as mine)
I saw mob count has a big thing to do with it -

Strangely I only get 37k from you. How much on hand? One time I took 68k in one fight

Not really. I get the most money (around $70k) from an inactive player with just over 1k mob & about 20 turf. One time I took 68k in one fight

I get same results from certain inactives. Bonus is that they don't complain about it.🔱ADD🔱UILO🔱 wrote:

One readily apparent variable is the number of times a player is attacked or defends within a particular time frame. That's as specific as I can be.
I suspect level plays a role as well, but I don't pay enough attention to what level players are when I attack or defend to say this with much confidence. -

I'm talking about before the money drops off. It starts dropping at the 8th attack (in 24 hours). On the 13th attack you won't get any more money (& have to wait 36 hours for it to reset). One readily apparent variable is the number of times a player is attacked or defends within a particular time frame. Interesting. Was this observed from attacks on a player or turf?bfong1 wrote:

Attacks on players and turf might have separate "cool-down" times. I tried attacking a player once and the cash started to drop off. When I attacked his turf, i was making as much cash as when I first attacked the player. -
@bfong, I've done both. I've never noticed a difference when switching from a player to turf or vice versa.

I think it's a percentage of how much money they have

I don't think it has a lot, if anything, to do with total money. An inactive I sometimes attack for cash has over $2 billion and the most I've gotten is $50k +/- but I could be wrong as mystery said.I think it's a percentage of how much money they have

If someone would be willing to help, I could conduct some tests...

If you do this, keep in mind that the player losing money loses more money than the other player wins. The don always takes a cut.If someone would be willing to help, I could conduct some tests...
