How to mob up, different techniques explained
Forums › Help & Strategy › How to mob up, different techniques explained-
There are various ways to mob up. What you want to do is get your code out there. Into the complicated loop of codes being passed from person to person, thread to thread.
Here are the different ways in which to do so...
-
WEBSITES:
These will offer you the chance to post your code on the Internet. Sites like "Invitecodematrix" will let you keep your code at the top by entering other valid codes into the system. Others just put your code on a list which it slowly moves down as new codes pile on top of it. -
FORUM:
The forum is a fast-paced system where the first page has threads made often only seconds ago, in order to mob up on this you can post your code to a popular thread or create a thread with generally "Add your code" the way you can keep this type of thread at the top you have to "Bump" it by posting again on it. Some people are cleaver and get others to bump is by posting their codes. -
LISTS:
Can be used in different ways, either just a list of codes that you give to someone with yours at the top, hoping they will add you. Or a list which often says "Add as many from this list as you want then add your code to the top and post to as many people as possible" these lists can be used to spread your code in an almost pyramid scheme style. If you post it to 10 people and 3 of those 10 add your code and pass it on to 10 people each, and 3 out of each 10 adds you and passes on. then there's 9 people who have added you and this number should increase exponetially. -
Posting you code anywhere will only gain u a limited size mob, the only way of getting a big mob is to log on to matrix and punch the codes you self instead of expecting others to punch urs off a list, as many players dont even look at code lists.

I do both but I'm not doing it till this weekend or if I get free any day. The list scheme is clever but punching is always reliable.

Just plain punching codes from a website works best for me. I've put my code in the forum and at the top of a website list, but I've stopped doing that. The reason is that eventually I'm probably going to end up punching the code of someone who added me anyway and get a "already in your mob" message. Just punch.

These chain lists, or any list in general can be found to be quite annoying by most people, some will attack you for putting a list on their wall.LISTS: "Add as many from this list as you want then add your code to the top and post to as many people as possible"

This list is missing getting a custom invite code. My gains me about 50 invites a day. Its not going to build you up as quickly as punching but every little helps.

Temp codes or regular codes? Which is better?
-
Personally I have found temp codes had the higher return rate.
You will however end up double punching them when you punch the regular code for the mobster.

Apply some gambling to it. Here is an idea:
Flip a coin
If it lands heads, you punch 100 codes and then take a 3 min break.
If it lands tails the code amount doubles and the minute amount increases by 1
Flip until you land on heads
Here's a quick chart
Heads-H
Tails-T
1H- 100 codes, 3min
1T1H- 200 codes, 4min
2T1H- 400 codes, 5min
3T1H- 800 codes, 6min
4T1H- 1600 codes, 7min
5T1H- 3200 codes, 8min
Promise yourself you'll do, say 5 or 10 rounds of this game. Best case senario, you do 500-1000 codes, worst case scenario, hehehehehe. The worst I've done is 3200 codes. -
Lol, is the OP still active. The thread is 12 weeks old and about mobbing up advice and he has 1,200 mob. Just made me giggle is all ☺
