The capo of my city keeps taxing me. He controls the whole valley, and I'm sure he has a huge income, but he continues to tax me. I often have a negative income, so I'll have to pick up and move, but he will follow.

I tried to pack them together so tightly, that he couldnt place a turf on me, but he just capped the one in the middle. Now I'm spreading them all out. We'll see how that goes.

Any advise? Thanks, if this doesn't get attention I might move it to GD. Not sure

I really don't understand why most newbies decide to group all their turf together, it's madness and only invites someone to cap and tax!! Definitely spread out!!! The best thing is to drop a few in your home town, then a few more somewhere else, then a few more somewhere else, until you've reached your cap, then concentrate on mobbing up.

The way I looked at it when I was 'growing up' was although turf is important, it was secondary to building a decent mob base.

But I can't stress enough....spread out!!

I made the same mistake. All turf on top of each other. Just learning the art of leap-frog... Spread your turf guys!

The capo on that area has a large mob and it takes lots of income to keep them fully armed. So instead of capping you he's taxing you. Don't make it easy for him - spread out your turfs.

Divide and conquer is the way to go. Spreading out makes him have to spread as well I he wants to keep taxing you for what little income he gets. When you can finally take him on with mob you should try nitpicking at his turfs until you can go all out war. This though will take longer then most strategies do. I myself am being forced into this an will most likely not win for a good month or maybe more. If I'm lucky the guy will go inactive but till then we got to just make it annoying for our enemies to bully us.
