so people are telling me to lower my turf to 1 inf for gas day. what is the purpose of this? thanks

There is no reason at your level.

The only real advantage for you, is that if you sell all your upgrades and reduce down to 1 inf, if/when you have that turf taken, you won't loose the money you would have otherwise spent on the upgrades. Your choice though.

Might make you less easy to see in a crowded turf area as well when you have inf of 1

Does it show that you have a turf when you go to their profile? There is a 1 inf turf by me in Memphis and I wanted to make sure it wasn't those only turf so i went to the profile an it says he/she doesn't have one in Tennessee?? How's that work?

When you have less than 4 influence in a region it doesn't show on your profile. I have seen proof of one player having international exposure, but if you look at his profile you only see him in US or Canada. I am sure many others do it as well.
