Is my success rate in attacking based on these numbers?

Lets say I attack Dude. If my attack total is 200,000 and my target's defense total is 199,999, Do I definitely win, or are there other factors in play?

It will be stalemate. You can both cap each other.

It's not the mob difference that matter, it's the attack and defence points. Someone may have 4k more mob than you but you may have more powerful weapons.

No from my understanding you have to have 30% higher attack than the defenders defense to win 100% of the time.

That's my understanding also. 30% more to always win.
