I somewhat understand these concepts and how they work, but would like to find an in detailed description of how this can be done. I figured the help and suggestions forum would be the best place for someone nice enough to help me out. This could also help others in need when the answer comes around. I checked the wiki and didn't see anything relating to this before hand.

Belial had a thread on this the other week. You have to understand how a capture radius works. The bigger the mob a player has the bigger his capture radius is.
The sniper has a small mob, which means he can get inside the capture radius of a large player, while keeping his own capture radius beyond the reach of the bigger player he is going after.
You have to use the sniper in a V, obviously the small mob guy is never gonna beat the big mob guy. You need bigger players in the V with you backing the sniper. You let the little guy move in close to the target and do all the attacking, while using the combined weapons of the V. This keeps everyone in the V out of range of the target.

I still don't get it, if the sniper has a smaller mob, therefore a smaller capture radius than the bigger mob player how the hell is he getting the bigger player in range without entering the bigger player's capture radius o.O

Let me see if I get this straight, the bigger player's cap radius has to reach the smaller one's so that he can cap him but the smaller one doesnt? He is in range of the big players capture radius. The small guys capture radius is so small tho that the big guy can't get close enough to capture his turf

I don't know if you got it. See here, a big mob can be captured from further away than a small mob. Let's say a guy with 10k mob is being targeted by a guy with 1k mob (who's in a vendetta of course). The 1k guy sets up a turf just in range of the 10k guy and caps off his turf from a safe distance. Meanwhile the 10k mob can't reach the 1k mob because the 1k mobs cap radius is smaller.obscenesalute wrote:

OH i get it now, I was looking at in a different way, I was thinking that a bigger mob would mean a bigger cap radius for the mobster himself ! Now I understand that a bigger mob means other players can cap you from a bigger distance whilst on the other hand a smaller mob means another player has to get VERY close to cap you
