Can someone please explain how you can destroy a turf of someone else. I captured a turf and it was destroyed by the person I took it from and is no longer on my turf list

Did you capture the turf whilst in a vendetta? When you cap in a V it destroys the turf.

Or you could at point of capture have been capped by someone else who then destroyed it.
