When you create a vendetta can you leave it targetting no one for the grace period while you invite players, then target your bully, or is it 24 hrs after the target was targetted?

The 24 hours applies to targeting.

And it only applies to turf. Your vendetta will assist in attacking the player right away, but they will not assist in turf attacks until 24 hours after selecting the target.

isnt it that the you can only use the "Defence" of the people that join your vendetta in the first 24 hours?

Your vendetta will only defend you from the target of your vendetta. They will defend from the very first minute y
to the very last minute provided they are not in the ER.

Your vendetta will NOT protect you from attacks from any player that is NOT the target of your V. Not in the first 24, not in any hour after.

AND if you are in a vendetta, you defense will be lowered by 40 % against anyone NOT targeted by the vendetta.

The 24 hour grace period is for the target of a vendetta to at least have s fighting chance and to have a chance to form his own vendetta before his turf can be destroyed.

In the first 24 hours, the vendetta will not help a player attacking the targets turf. They will help attack the player in the first 24 hours.

Go to the help tab and read the vendetta help.
