Is there a way to tell how much a near by turf will pay in protection? I'm assuming it's based on the influence of the nearby turf, but am curious if there are any concrete numbers, as protection paid to me ranges from 500 - 11k. I read through all the FAQ's and couldn't find any reference.

It depends how much you are covering them.

I think it is also effect by influence. A small 1 influence turf gives me about 450 no matter how much I am covering it. A higher influence turf gives me closer to 5k.
