I made a vendetta against someone but it doesn't get used when I try to attack their turf it only gets used when I attack the person.

The 24 hour rule. When you create a vendetta, you have to wait 24 hours to start using the vendetta at full strength. So your vendetta (I checked) has 12 more hours to go til you can start using the vendetta. Which leaves you 6 days to use the vendetta.

That's stupid. So there's a guy that's built a turf near me to capture my turfs and my vendetta is not going to help me because I started the vendetta after he built his turf so his 24 hours would be up before mine.

Your vendetta will defend against attacks (even on turfs)before the 24 hour period. The 24 hour rule is only to prevent people from forming a vendetta and destroying someone before they have a chance to defend themselves.
