When new players are looking to join an alliance what's some advice on how to try and get in one that best suits your way of playing the game.. Wiki gives basic info but when it gets down to it none of that is really a portrait of how the players are that are in the alliance. So what are some of the best strategies in trying to determine if you even want in one and then which one...

That's because every alliance is different. Read about the different active alliances & see which sound like the best fit for you. Then contact the person it says to contact.

Yeah did that several times.. Some sound the same and what some say but how some of the players act tend to conflict which has you second guessing lol. If that makes sense. Trial and error perhaps. Just curious what was the case for the more experienced players or if they had a method to the madness! 😜

Then you've answered your own question. If you already have a feel for the players, that should help you decide if/which alliance would work for you.
