If you look on my profile, you'll see that I'm level 20(Recently)
I have a bit over 1000 inf.
My Mob has 1235 atm.
I'm armed with Galeasis (sorry for the spelling) kevlars and butcher knives until 1,500 Mob

I don't know if upgrading my weapons is worth the negative income, that's where you more experienced players come in.

Right now I'm only interested in def weapons.
I did some math and this is what I found. (Using the weapons from the "How to arm your mob" thread)

100 M for 1k minigun
Minus 250k from upkeep

60M for 1k Steel toed shoes
Minus 60k from upkeep

25 M for 1k Body Armour
Minus 200k from upkeep

185 M for everything
Minus 510k from upkeep

My income is 620k. So with all these new weapons and armour my income would be 110k.

Is it worth getting these weapons for only 1k in my 1.2k (and growing mob) Or should I invest in something different, (if so what)

Buy a little at a time. eg: Buy 200 minis (2M) which reduces you income by 50k, then place a turf to make up for it. Repeat.

Using free don points you can get 2 turf limit increase per week. If these are placed in good areas you should be able make 50k off them, that's 100k for the 2. Then work your weapons off that, trying to keep ur income at say 500k.

That's if you cant afford to buy don points for increased turf limit. Alternatively just cap turf to suit.

Grow mob, add turf, stick with "no upkeep" weapons for now. Always maintain a positive income.

Personally, I think transitioning to AKs is the way to go.
