I've reset before, and this can help a bit.
1) you keep your invite code.
2) you keep your don points.
3) you lose EVERYTHING else.
4) you can change your name.
Now that we've gone over can and can't keeps, let's go over what you should do.
1) Erase your tracks. It will make it harder for people to fin you.
2) Ask the gd forum for donations when your a lower level. A lot of people will help.
3) hop away from the action. You can come back stronger.
4) make friends. It helps a lot!
5) Lastly, stay at a low level. Raise your mob and turf #s and equip your mob.
If the big guys can help me on this, I hope it's good post for you guys! -
I like the cheddar pie aswell👍

You can effectively do this by deleting every post you've ever made in forums and on walls, tear down all your turf, then change your name and you won't lose anything else.
-
And keeping your invite code isn't good for the people who punch on the websites because they've already marked it as used and won't ever see a new code for you.
-
Also the community is really helPful.
-
Also before you do seek help

On a side note.... DON'T RESET
if you've made mistakes...... Deal with it
If you've upset the wrong people...... Stratergies (move away, apologies etc)
Bottom line is......its a game but part of the fun is losing at first and building to succeed
If you don't realise that I would suggest 'crime city' no hard feelings but turf wars might not be for you...... And if you choose that route..... DON'T RESET....... I still want you in my mob👍

Personally I've thought of reset as a release from the turf wars addiction....... Don't go on promoting the idea as a stratergy for players to use when tw life gets hard
If you need to know or understand the reset principle read the help guide

I didn't imply that I would and am not currently considering it but players in the past at similar levels to me have just randomly reset without warning or response, my assumption was that they wanted to stop playing but couldn't until they had lost everything

That's not completely true. If anyone has any turf they capped from you before you reset, your name on those turf will change to whatever name is on your account. You would have to find a way to eliminate every turf anyone has ever capped from you.You can effectively do this by deleting every post you've ever made in forums and on walls, tear down all your turf, then change your name and you won't lose anything else.

Very good point! Doesn't make it undo-able, but definitely a difficult endeavor.

Yeah, and another tip! I've got turfs in a corner spot. Once I'm on vacation I'm planting turfs thereVery good point! Doesn't make it undo-able, but definitely a difficult endeavor.

Making friends on this game does not exactly help, however, knowing how to be polite does

I reset and I am doing just fine thank you. Maybe it is because I reset

The capped turf issue would still exist in both scenarios. The ONLY benefit I can see from a reset is lowering your level. And that weighed against the loss of mob and loot (especially if you have brens) doesn't seem worth it to me.

That really depends. I've seen people with 50 mob at level 25. I've seen people with 1k at level 50. When people level up that quickly, resetting is the way to go. You can have that same amount of mob in 1-2 days & you won't be demolished from no protection & no mob. (This assumes they are just clueless & not choosing to have a small mob for strategic reasons.)The capped turf issue would still exist in both scenarios.
