Hmm... when I check around for mobsters to attack I have noted that many have far more weapons and armour to upkeep then they have turfs to support. Unless turfs can earn you far more then I've seen so far. So two questions...

1. How much can you get in income on a turf? Max I've seen is 35k/hour.

2. What happens when spendings exceed income? Do you still get to keep the weapons and armor?

yes you still keep them but go into negative. The max without protection is actually 52.3k so maybe with that and a little protection they make it.
