If I get experience or not from fighting someone seems to be utterly random. :/ Well random when I "do" get it. The vast majority of time I won't get any experience from fighting people.

I've lost fights (when attacking) before and got experience.. But I've never lost a fight when defending and got experience.. So confusing. D:

It's based entirely on how close your combat power (see the market screen) is to your opponent's.
