Vendetta help

I can't seem to invite or target anyone in my Vendetta... If I try and target it'll ask me and I'll hit "okay", but nothing happens. D:

Any suggestions?

This is frustrating.. Getting attacked by someone who has 3x the influence as I do.. Has fewer mob members but 1) They're ALL equipped (mine aren't.. Don't have the cash), and 2) They're all equipped with RPG's and body armor (Which I can't even hope to afford the upkeep on). Already taken over several turfs, and there's nothing I can do. Vendetta isn't working, and I'm kinda suspecting that most of the people in my area have gone inactive because of this guy in the first place.
