This was said before, basicly it's the idea of freezing ones account fir a short period whilst on holiday. I was wondering if there were plans fir it to go ahead

on topic - it would be very handy, maybe 10 days pet year or something and require 24 hour notice or more, and if you attack anything on that time it is cancelled.

It's been suggested before and you'll need to give more than 24hrs notice. Otherwise you could use it as an attack tool.
Example: give notice, 2 hrs before it kicks in go ape capping turf. By the time the victim finds out, you'll be protected as you're on holiday...
So a weeks notice might be better
