Capo Privelege?

As near as I can tell, being the Capo of the area means mostly you don't pay protection to cops... so I was thinking... What if the cops pay protection to the capo. Like when the people in your area are paying the cops, the cops could be bumping like, 15% of that to the Capo.... Or am I thinking to hard :P

I like it it 👍👍👍👍👍

Since when do cops pay mafia? I could swear it's always the other way around.

Cops pay mafia after the mafia pays them, in exchange for (to a degree) a controllable criminal element.

Yippee, let's all try to think of more totally unrealistic and non real-life ways to get free money!
Does anyone have any idea of economics?
I'll break it down for you.Where 'everyone' = capo's (most players have at least a capo or 2):
-everyone gets extra money.
-everyone gets better weapons.
-everyone has more great weapons, just like everyone else.
-STALEMATE!Oh, bear in mind of course that all the noobs are suddenly introduced to an even harsher environment. Great. Let's just bump full Don Protection up to level 35 to protect them.
Fail.

This had nothing to do with economics. Put an Idea out there, and while the idea right now may not sound quite right, the concept behind it at least makes sense. Stop being so touchy.

Hmm ... Yes I agree with the concept I suppose. It would have to be fair for everyone though.
Don't forget my comment about noobs being introduced to a harsh environment though. My apologies for sounding touchy. My bad.

you could help think of a better way to distribute the cash flow from the non players, who are paying 99%of the cops income :P instead of using what appears to be an above average Inteligence to rant about economics :P
-
And no worries haha, again... The idea is plausible, but my excecution, not exactly the best :P

Instead of that suggestion, why dont we take the cops out all together and have people pay protection to the capo instead?

Hey, he's got a point though Bruenor, you're right about cops being pretty necessary, but I like the idea of capo being paid by other players.
(not that it'd do me much good anymore, I'm only capo of a couple of towns.)HOWEVER, I think that were this to be the case, all the big players who are protecting small players are suddenly going to be trying to gain capo as well. Sucks to be a small player :/
I dunno .. Good idea, but might complicate things.
-
Just a thought... I don't care so much if it gets approved, I enjoy the discussion of making it better.
-
If the smaller people pay their capo, a lot of them would quit, and the ame would have no new players.

My suggestion was to go through the cops, since that money is taken, and "wasted" ... Somebody worked for that money, so wouldn't it just make sen e that somebody might get the chance to appreciate it?If the smaller people pay their capo, a lot of them would quit, and the ame would have no new players.

Also, the capo could grant free protection to his allies pr whatever. The door opens up for new opportunities for diplomacy.

or* sorry it's a bit too late.
