Perhaps upkeep needs reviewing throughout the game.
Mobs are much larger than originally considered and fully armed mobs require substantial upkeep.

Regarding the upkeep problem:
I wonder what would happen if upkeep was on a sliding scale based on the number that you have. For example, 1-500 = low upkeep. 500-2000= med upkeep, 2000-7000 = high, 7000+ = ridiculous upkeep.
The idea is this:
1. Small players can still arm their mob with good weapons
2. Big players can still arm their masses, but the more of each gun, the harder to upkeep
3. Someone mentioned how it'd be nice to see more variety in how mobs were armed...this would certainly give you that variety, since maxing on the same gun might be prohibitively expensive for most. -

By reviewing upkeep, I meant reducing it across the board.
I suspect the turf limit issue is more of a way to stop players getting too many turfs.
The game doesn't particularly play well once you get into several thousand turf.
Certain screens don't load at all beyond certain limits, due to a combination of server and client issues. (some of which are unsolvable ie. old tech)

1200 is too low of an upkeep. Its equvalent in to price to a tommy and lapuna, but twice as good? Nahh

I would say that smaller mob sizes/turf amounts should have lower costs for guns and upkeep, while the higher you go, the greater the cost. It could help out the noobs (And H@VOC so he can arm his henchmen 😜)
