So, when you are a new player you first try to enter the vendetta forum. You are redirected instead to a guide one what a Vendetta is and the forum etiquette. You think people will just skip over this though, right? Well, once you move past that page there is a small quiz with some basics to answer (multiple choice format). Maybe 10-15 questions. Simple, but important rules. You must pass to make it into the forum. You only need to pass once and you never see it again. Anyone like?

My concern is players would switch off and not bother again.

I think it is a good idea but isn't really practical and won't be done on this game. It's not that type of game.

Two questions would be fine. Like 'Which of the following is the correct Vendetta Forum Ettiquete?' and 'Have you been mobbing up lately?' Fail one question the Forum redirects the player to Mystery's post 😃

I think they would. Given the amount of players that impatiently level up and do all the things they're advised not to, if there was a barrier between them and the v forum I think they'd not bother with the app.

^^Agreed. Of course, this is coming from someone on the outside looking in. I've never been a part of a V ... So take my comment with a grain of salt ;)

Two simple but relevant questions would be nice. The mobbing up question wouldn't work - would would just say yes anyway.
Any players that would turn off the game instead of answering 2 simple questions probably aren't worth keeping around anyway.

How about a vendetta form they have to fill in..... Target, location, reason etc. this way people wouldn't have to keep asking them for this info and waste time. No one will read the guide if they don't want to but they will have to fill tw form out to make a post.

The guide is just a guide, not rules of the game. Deciding to support a vendetta should take some investigation. Someone should put in enough info to help others decide but all this ERing of newbs is just becoming petty.

If someone doesn't supply the needed info then don't join their vendetta. Simple.

I like it too. It would make sense and eliminate the need it have the whole testing thing.
