Instead of the plane ticket idea, what about having a small list of default starting cities that a player can opt to build in without having to actually be there...this would address the issue with low population areas and stale gameplay.

Make it a random turf placement in the default city of the players choice. You could designate one to how ever many default cities per continent depending on the size of the continent.

I think the balance is ... U cant whereever u want ... If u really want to set turf in a place ... Go there physically ... Ticket can be a good way in maling the game more balance and fun...

I like this idea and was thimnking of something similiar. O am at a great disadvantage geographically speaking and would benefit from the plane ticket idea. Bur I still don't agree with it.

I would suggest that instead of random cities, players can set up where they are and choose just one secondary city.
