How would a leather jacket have more defence than a body armour?
Also what upkeep, price, etc were you thinking?

No point in it being a rare loot: we already have Kevlar lined suits, that have 24 defence?

How about rare loot with only 1 def. and +10 cool points. No use, just for bragging rights. And for the lulz.

Can such items add influence? Make the imaginary cool points 10 influence instead. lol

I don't want my chance of getting useful loot lowered because a useless loot is introduced. Cool points fir bragging rights? No thank you. Cool points that add influence would be useless for anything. They wouldn't increase your income or help you get capo; they'd only increase your ER cost.
