How exactly does the combat system work?
It seems that the measures to stop bullies are mostly ineffective.
The fight screen only picks up fighter above you and ten levels below. But that won't stop someone from using the moblist, turf map or any other place a player name is linked to find easy pickings.
What if there was negative influence from fighting?
Avid chess players will be familiar with following.
Chess players have ratings based on their play against others. 800, 1800, 2100....
But they have a system in place to prevent "sandbagging". Sandbagging is when a player with a 1800 rating, for example, plays other players well below him, such as 900 or lower.
When this happens, even if the higher rated player wins, his rating will actually go down.
Implementing a system where a Turf Wars player got a negative xp or influence would likely go a long way in preventing bullies.

Combat weighting...
Should be more than just mob.
While there is strength in numbers, even Chuck Norris would have to cut and run from a big enough army of 'tards.
So what if mob was only weighted for 40% of fight outcomes?
Experience accounting for 30% and finally, Influence making up the final 30%.
I don't know how this could be implemented. I'm as about as far from dev material as you can get.

Attack/Defense skill points
These seem to be just 1 for 1. 1 A/D skill point equaling just one point of attack or defense.
If it were added to mob, it could be a theoretical 24 attack or 31 defense.
But what if instead, since they are skill points after all, and skill comes with experience, they were tied to Experience? Such And make it a multiplier.
1 skill point could add 1%, .1%, .05%....increase to experience.
Tie this all together, you would likely get a more "unknown" factor when fighting someone. Will I win? Will they win? How many A/D points do they have?

So you see now, under this system, someone with 3200 mob and level 70+ Experience would have to take a long hard look before dropping turfs to 1 inf. Even with 500 turfs.

Bottom line-make it about more than just mob.

It would have to be a 1% min, cause less would decrease said persons Att/Def

I just think there should be diminishing returns on weapon power against number of turfs. So if you have a huge number of turf - generating massive income, your wep effectiveness is reduced (as they are spread among the turfs).

I'm getting all my territories taken by level 80's with 3000 mob. I'm 46 with 500 mob. Somehow that doesn't seem fair.

the problem with charlies first plan is it would cause someone like me who is a pretty big mob and level to more or less relly on the fight list. the fight list is pretty limited and taking out my friends i get about five people i can attack. i relly on small inactive players to kill off the rest of my stamina. This would stop that essentially forcing me to bully the same few people day after day to kill off my stamina

But why the need to burn off stamina? What are you getting for it? Certainly not XP under those circumstances. And you can't possibly need the money.
Maybe the fight list should be determined by mob size?
I've got such a huge mob here that literally everyone within 1000 miles of me could form a mega vendetta against me and I would still lose.
I've got to the point where I buy and sell weapons based on who is on my fight list. I'll match them with weapons, but no armor. I usually lose, which is fine, as I don't want to burden them financially, but usually 3-5 XP even when fighting 30 levels below me. Last week I ( lvl 71) lost to a level 10. And there was no Don intervention.

oh i should have carified. i dont fight for cash or even experience. missions seem to be good enough to level up at the rate i want. i fight only for win ratio. thats why i have to constantly burn the stamina. Until recently i didnt even fight at all but with my low losses it has been suggested that i go for the fight list
