Alright well I was pretty upset with the new combat changes. I've since calmed down and realized I still utterly hate them. Though I was about to but respect points so I suppose I should be thankful they would be useless with the new change. Well enough useless talk here is my proposal.
I hopped on an old game the other day on my iPhone. Kingdoms live, they have a bounty system implemented where you can put your gold into a pot and when the player is brought down to 10% hp the individual who brought him down recieved the gold. So if someone is attacking you and you don't like it or don't have friends you can put 50k on his head. Bigger players will search the bounty tabs and aim for them. Small money may not attract anyone but how much are you willing to pay to keep someone off your back?
Only problem I forsee is how to implement it with turf. I figure just players hp is enough. Also a new top mobsters tab for biggest bounties! Hehe well it's an idea that seems to work. Limiting attack is wrong

I just hate when games cater to the worst case, hampering everyone else. Instead of game mechanics, make it player baised to solve the problem.

Bounties on ruthless players would be good make this game much
more balanced and allow
more strategy than just comparing mob sizes -
Players need to be responsible for what they want. If a player is consistantly putting a bounty on your head you will most likely stop attacking him! You may even find yourself in a position where you are at his mercy.
Example:
Player = Nick
(Clicks profile) "Add Bounty" clicks button and enters amount. 80,000
Player = Clef. recieves a message. -Player: Nick has placed a bounty for 80,000 dollars on your head! Total Bounty: 80,000-Now looking under the attack tab you see a new Tab (Bounties!) Any player who is within range of YOU or ANY OF YOUR BASES will show up on the Bounty List. Attacking the PLAYER ONLY and bringing them down to the point of hospitilization will reward you with the entire bounty.
Bounties will be sorted from highest to lowest. That way people only putting (Say a minium of 10k) will be at the back and not sought after as much as the bigger bounties. If you are a chain attacker there will always be a bounty on your head and you will be healing constantly!

That sounds good to me you can also make healing cost more and more each hospitalization to further disuade the rich people from attacking.

You forget that soon enough there are enough bounty hunters that if I put a bounty on you player x. Then you can put a bounty on me player y. A player y put a bounty on player x because he's too small to effectively attack. Player x is a an advatage as he can Hirt you both ways! PLUS he has more resources possible enough to keep you down hard enough not to be able to afford to fight back.
I do like the sentiment! But I don't believe it would work. Better still it would be better if you could co-operate with local bosses. A better communication system with the ability to help defend a nearby player or help gang up an attack a much larger player ( within limits of course)
currenty defences for turf are totally useless and not cost effective. I'd like to see that change too.

I didn't completely read all these so I don't know if this has been mentioned, how bout you cab only put a bounty if the player is a higher level, that would help ⬆⬆ his statement

True enough, an easy fix! Can only put bounties on players more powerful than yourself. Level or Mob

The attack limitation is to protect weaker players from people 3x or more thier level. So the chances that weaker player can afford to pay a hitman(maybe pay a few times), are not great. The limitation thing does kinda suck though. So maybe that should only apply to certain(bigger) lvl differences, AND still use a hitlist.

This is a good idea but the only problem is if I put a 1mil bounty on player x and player y attacks player x player y might only need to attack once to complete the bounty and it might look like just a normal attack.
I think a better idea would be player y has to take out one of player x's turfs and whoever puts the bounty on selects the turf to take out. -
If you don't do all the damage you only get a % based on the damage you did do.

Or maybe withthe limit have it you can only bounty someone if they attacked you first that way when you attck someone you think will they put a bounty on me or just let me have this one ie I don't mind being attacked once but if a player keeps on doing it I would like to put them on the hit list
