New loot!
Forums › Suggestions & Feedback › New loot!-
A loot that allowed you to put a marker in the the place you want to create a turf incase you don't have time to put a turf down. And it would count if you were over your turf limit so if you want too when you go down to your turf limit you could put a turf there. It would be limited to one at any one time. And it would be an uncommon loot
-
so you mean a marker that you could put at your location, so you have a build radius at your location?😳 if that's what you mean, then this is pointless, just like a title deed.
-
Actually I like the idea. A fair compromise to those over limit
-
I think it depends. If it's just to remind yourself that would be fine. If it keeps someone else from building there then I don't like it. There's no reason someone should hold a place indefinitely just because they are over limit. Then you are penalizing those that aren't over limit & spend $ on the game.

I think he means the loot would reserve a location which he can then place at turf at, at a later date. It's interesting I'm not sure though.
As mystery pointed out. However, if it's based on reserving a gps location and others can still occupy that location I may be inclined to give the thumbs up.

lmao, I meant it was of the same usefulness as a title deed - to me they both seem pointless.👾₩✪ℤℤⅬΣ-ɰøʑʑɬɘ👾 wrote:

I just take a screen shot for later, if I don't have the turf available at that moment. Since you'd have to "plant" the marker, it wouldn't be any faster than planting a turf.
I use my title deeds; they aren't pointless to me.

Not the same as reserving a location mystery. For example, he may travel to a location 300 miles from his nearest turf and not be able to drop a pin because he's over limit. The only other option would be to hop, which isn't always an option for players with small turf limits. Maybe if it's not so much a loot but a reserve turf that can only be used 1 at a time.I just take a screen shot for later, if I don't have the turf available at that moment. So once you are under limit again you can plant a turf where the marker is? No matter where in the world it is? This seems odd. Basically you could look at the map anywhere you want and place a marker, then turn it into a turf at a later date. Bypassing airports and the gps. Basically allowed spoofing. Unless you can only place the marker like you would a regular turf, within your green build radius.

Yer. You have to physically be there using your current location.Kozy wrote:

So only your current location? You wouldn't be able to plant a marker within the build radius of one of your existing turf?

Kozy wrote:
Well, the way I'm suggesting it no. U have to drop the reserve pin at the location, at that time you're there. And there should be a timer on it, say 7 days and the reservation expires. to encourage people to either get under limit or buy more limit. The idea's growing on me. 👍So only your current location? You wouldn't be able to plant a marker within the build radius of one of your existing turf?

7 days? I'd say like 3 days & it still allows someone else to plant a "real" turf there. First come, first serve, so to speak.

Mystery wrote:
Yeah ur getting hang of the idea now mystery :). I think 3 may be too short. Those who do buy dp may need a few days for whatever reason. Maybe compromise at 5 giving them sufficient time to organise or loss the reservation. Maybe it could be a loot aferall. Very rare ad can be used 1 at a time. If it expires u lose te location and the loot.7 days? I'd say like 3 days & it still allows someone else to plant a "real" turf there. First come, first serve, so to speak.

I'm just curious, and despite the sarcastic sound it's a real question, do people often have to unexpectedly travel 300 miles away while they are so far over limit they can't buy enough points or tear down enough turf to plant? I only ask because some people complain of receiving "worthless" loot.

Well not really people would think it great. Valid q from mystery. However, Pete, if you're already under limit you wouldn't need the reserve plant lol. 300 miles was an example but it could be any amount really. I mean, there's times when I've been on a capping spree n I'm 30-40 over and travel 30 miles out but can't plant. Yes, I could hop, but sometimes it's too time consuming when you have to prioritise and plan different areas of defence and attack. More so, I think this is 1 for the new players. An encouragement tool.

Of course then nick might miss out on some impulsive buying of don points.
