Combat system overhaul.

Just an idea from another gps game. Maybe too late for this game but could solve the mob issues. Mob no longer decides how many weapons you use. Instead mob becomes a damage modifier deciding how fast you can ER a player or tale a turf. Thus mob is still hugely relevant as it would conserve stamina allowing you to take more turf. We are also reduced to only one weapon since there's no mob. I would suggest Making upkeep way more and making weapons more level exclusive giving a real reason to level up.

Whether a win can be earnedwould be decided by a combination of attack vs defense and inf vs inf combined with a more eratic random factor so small players could occasionally beat larger players thus making turf more temporary and increasing turnaround of turf. Vendettas of course would still be a combination of all these stats.

That would be a different game. A boring one that would be geared towards the occasional player.
Everyone would be able to take anyones turf without much thought in how you were going to do it. Where does goals and strategy come into play? Someone who logs in once every six months could really screw up an area you had been working on for weeks. Fun for the casual player, not so much for the more serious player who logs in every day and works hard to achieve game goals.
After you have been playing the "android" mob game for a while, I'm sure your opinion will flip.👆👉👇👈

I have to agree with The Getch on this one.
-
I also agree with the getch. Couldn't have explained better myself.

Thing is the current fight system is fully broken. Noobs dont get a chance to touch the fun zone of being top player. Even I can't be top player without spending over $1000 on this game. It's turned from long term goals to impossible to climb in this game. Something has to be done
-
Tw is dying because people can't achieve top level. The only solution is to make a system like this.
-
Is it fair to small players that I have thousands of mob they wont? Is it fair to me that the game is being taken over by hench buyers and a number 2 mov with 2k hench is almost reduced to highid level?
-
Lol, I seem to remember telling you this last November, you failed to see it then.
I agree the current mob based battle system is broken and favours vets over noobs.
I actually support what you suggest here as a reasonable alternative that gives players new and old a chance to fight on a level playing field.

It's different seeing you want to change the game principles...
-
It's not a fair system the vets have had updates in their favour for the past year.

Fair would make everyone the exact same & be boring. Plenty of top players retire & new ones replace them. This game isn't made so you can get to "the top" in a month & I don't think it should ever be that way. I am strongly opposed to more of a random factor.
-
In this game you spend hours punching codes, you spend cash so you have more don points and can get things others don't have, you place your "circles" in strategic places, you align yourself with other players... For what? So you can have an "unfair" advantage over others. Why would you want to play a game that makes everything "fair"? It's overcoming those "unfair" obstacles that makes it fun.
fair noun an exhibition, usually competitive, of farm products, livestock, etc., often combined in the U.S. with entertainment and held annually by a county or state.
According to the definition of fair, it sounds more appropriate for farmville.

Here's my issue. To currently be top player in any category you have to spend thousands in game. It's just not possible to do ut without spending that cash anymore. Not number one. By switching the system it would at least make it viable for a player to get number one through working for it and not only based on what they spend

You're going to have to define "top player." I think people have different definitions of it because they have different goals. I certainly didn't spend thousands to get on the top mob leader board. That was work, but it was free. Here's my issue. To currently be top player in any category you have to spend thousands in game. It's just not possible to do ut without spending that cash anymore. I have nothing against random blokes (in TW, at least). Random factors on the other hand...not so great.Mystery wrote:

It could be implemented without a random factor increase
