I think an interesting twist on this could be the addition of something like a vulnerability scale where the more a player attacks then their attack/defense skill diminish as well as the number of mob and/or weapons available temporarily. So if there's one big guy in an area who uses all 50 stamina on the 10 little guys near him, after he attacks If they attack back soon enough then they would have a much higher chance of winning the fight. This would increase the risk factor of farming without taking away the concept entirely as well as provide a way for the little guys to retaliate after the fact.

This would also have to be on some kind of level and mob based scale so the penalty lessens as you get closer to players if your own ability.
