Seriously it's the most reliable gun in the world why would it need upkeep. If you want the assault rifle to have upkeep then make it an m16 it would be more realistic

The only unreliable version of the M16 is the version used in vietnam but now if maintain it properly (clean the barrel, clean firing pin and chamber) and it rarley if ever jams

I guess you mobsters don't need to buy ammunition for their guns? I say upkeep on everything, including sharpening the shanks.

Indeed. But it would be nice to have this as a backup weapon without upkeep. Maybe this would be over the top though.

in real life every gun need to clean every day the easy 1s are m4a1 and ak47
