Mob up code auto accept
Forums › Suggestions & Feedback › Mob up code auto accept-
Since there is a problem with early birds have huge mobs, how about an auto accept of codes.
How it would work:
you add a code like mine: tdi
if I am not in your mob I am automatically added instead of me having to accept the invite. This solves the problem of dead players and gives us a chance to catch up. We have done the hard part of punching in the codes, we shouldn't be penalised for starting the game later than others.
If this has been suggested already I'll delete the thread

It has already been suggested. The problem with this is codes are so readily available that in a week everyone would have the same sized mob

So what. If they dont have the income to support the weapons and armor, it won't matter how much mob someone has.

the problem is that it can increase the current stalemate to include mid level players instead of just the high up players. I have played mmos with this feature before. The easiness to obtain mob make the game fairly lame. Mob is the only stat that truly counts in this game and as such should remain fairly difficult to obtain

Also there would be no purpose for the top mob list as everyone would have about 4k mob

I personally don't find the top mob list important, the problem is as said too many times before, we need to bridge the gap between the oldies and noobs when it comes to mobbing. Also there would be no purpose for the top mob list as everyone would have about 4k mob

why is it so I'mportant to bridge the gap. The oldies as you call them have put way more time and energy into this game than the noobs have as of yet and deserve their advantage. The noobs who stick around will make it someday. Older players get lazy with mob andost retire such as gasfaceBelial wrote:

And you may not care about the top mob list but I do. As a matter of fact getting on that list is my main purpose in this game

The point of this game is it isn't supposed to be quick or easy it's supposed to take time and effort. Mob is the most important thing in this game and as such should take time and work to aquire

And still no one touches what I said. So what if a player has 4k+ mob if he doesn't have the turf to support the weapons and armor. This could drasticly alter gameplay and bridge more gaps than the one mentioned above.

i touched on it when I said it would force a stalemate to allmid level players. A mid level player has the resources to support a 4k mob most likely. I'm what you would call mid level. I can deffinately support such a mob. Supporting a mob is easy. You can do that with don points almost exclusively. It's getting the mob that's hardAnd still no one touches what I said. well I can't speak for anyone else, but my don points are earned, not paid for so I spend them sparingly.[]D[][]V[][]D wrote:

while in theory u'r correct, this game is a business to Nick. As a whole the game 'should' be much more popular than it is since it is clearly better than say, the Godfather games. However with gap between older players and newer players widening it is very difficult for newer players to just jump in. In particular, what's their motivation??
-
bet 3 new players just quit after reading u'r note). As such I think it would be a good idea as a sort of compromise to have 1/2 autoinvite, I.e. U get 1/2 a mob member for every invite and another half for every accept.
-
the gap isnt widening as much as you think. momo the hut started just over two weeks ago and has a mob of 2400 now.
-
The thing about the godfather games is they start off popular but lose their appeal very quickly as there's really nothing to strive for or work toward. Everything quickly becomes too easy. That's why godfather is always making new games. Your plan would do the samething to turfwars
