Filter on turf map

I know this has been suggested before but I can't seem to find it to revive it.

I'd like to be able to filter the turf map where I can see only to turf of a particular player. It would make strategic placement of turf much easier especially in densely populated areas.

Also would be nice to see only my turf. I can approximate that now by using "plant new turf" button but think a filter would look cleaner.

I just bumped the thread (or at least the one I could find) where this was suggested & why it's a bad idea.

Actually both Kozy & Welz said that the options should be 1) Show only your turf or 2) Show all turf.

You should never be able to filter out all turf except for one other player (not you). That makes it too easy to find enemies. That's the reason that nick purposely made it so that at 4 inf or less, you don't show up in your default profile view (that list cities) or on the influence leader board.

Well that makes the idea much more interesting then. I'll have to think about it some more.

How about a filter that just shows turf that you can cap

Or filter turf in certain areas like top mobsters can go down to cities

I'd be happy with just being able to click on a turf while in plant mode, and the owners name pops up. Instead of "turf already here" or what ever it is. Make setting up on someone a little easier. Very annoying going back and forth to plant close enough and to the right turf. So instead of saying "turf already here" it just says the owners name like in normal map mode.
