How about refining or removing old or useless features from the game before adding new ones....I know the melee weapon thing isn't that complicated but why add something new when let's say "defensive upgrades" sits un-used and need of an over haul or removal.

We shouldn't assume, for all we know the devs are working on a feasible solution for turf defensive upgrades.
