I don't understand how the name relates to the game at all or the point of police protection for 1 turf. This strange idea was already suggested & I posted my questions there.

Well its quite simple, cops like doughuts, therefore they are used to bribe them. If 1 turf doesnt make sense to you , then it could be for a city instead.
