Auto accept of Mob Invites after a certain time
Forums › Suggestions & Feedback › Auto accept of Mob Invites after a certain time-
A frustration for me and probably many of the newer players is that in addition to the tedium of entering mob codes, however diligent we are there is no chance we can ever match the mob numbers of the earliest players because of the defunct players out there.
So my suggestion is that all pending invites after perhaps 2 weeks that have not been accepted or rejected are automatically accepted and the user gets the members. After all, they have done the work part of the deal by plugging in the code (often more than once) so should deserve the reward for this.

Good idea.

Which would mean everyone with the sane sized mobs and no game....

Tbh I don't like the idea of having to accept codes. If someone has put the effort in to type my code then that should be enough. -
You still have to enter all the codes in the first place though which many people don't have the inclination to do. You have a similar number to me at present, around 2400 odds. I bet we have entered as many as the players with 2900 members but we can never catch them up while we all enter new ones as they arise.
Similarly new players behind us will never catch our total, however hard they try entering them all.

I agree they won't but being as we have similar sized mobs and the with the little scraps we have had recently I don't know why you would propose the idea. Anyone who takes the time to watch the lord of the rings trilogy whilst putting in codes will have the stalemate sized mob. There are enough problems with this as there is. In a game like this you need the little guys or it just won't work

I hear you but this is a compromise. It would make turfwars meritocratic and stop the crazy idea of automatic resetting inactive accounts.

What the game needs is stalemate and endgame solutions like customised profiles and/or weaponry

I am bigger than you in influence terms, you have a few dozen more mob members. We have an impasse as a result but that's always going to be the case where the differences are nominal. I would very much doubt that if we both got all the invites we have sent that are currently lost in the ether that it would change that situation anyway. That's down to other game factors.
Imagine a 3100 mob member moved into one of your areas and started battering you with the 700 or so difference in numbers. What else can you do to bridge that divide that you have not done already, nothing at all. You would just have to take it, despite probably typing in the same number as the longer established player. You are being punished for not playing as long.
I think it would give a much greater motivation for people to enter codes, especially new players. A fixed database of codes is a fixed database of codes and the more you punch in the more you get, it's not the moving goalposts it is now.

I suppose I realy just think it will be replacing one problem with another which to me is counterproductive, we need to solve the old problem. Which can be done a number of different ways just nick never seems to read my posts.

Oh sorry I didn't mean it would change our situation jcmc just meant there would be more situations like ours.

Why not count either inactive members in people's mobs as less or not quite an autoadd but count people as sayb1/2 a mob member if u've added them but they haven't accepted.

Yeah! Agreed

I have an idea to go with this that may squelch some of the whining. If this was to be implemented, it would have to go into effect only with codes entered after it becomes implemented.
