Actually this might be an idea for changing the end game stalemate, you nominate what type of turf you build ; a casino a drug farm a gun or munitions factory a training camp. Each type varies your benefits which could impact on attk defence values , money earnt or number of mobsters you could deploy.

I kind of like the idea of having some advantage over turf warriors physically in my turf radius.

Exactly! The arbitrary turf and improvement limitation is quite annoying. After about level 50, the game really loses its appeal.

I think maybe there shouldn't be limits on turf upgrades. However, I think you should only be able to put 1-2 buildings on 1 turf. I mean, really, a turf that's less than 0.1 square miles with 20 seperatebuildings is rather ridiculous. However, you could start with a small office building and continue upgrading until you had a building as tall as say the empire state building with the luxury of the Trump building (is it luxurious; I'm not sure.) you could also make it where each new building/improvement took a certain amount of time - just as if you had to wait for it to be built in real life! 😋
